It's not like she's never been exposed to the concept of a t-shirt and a pair of jeans because was raised in some bizarre, isolated, tribe that only wears couture costume art.
She's well aware of what qualifies, and what doesn't qualify as "normal" clothing, and she purposefully goes for the unusual. I'm not condemning her for making that choice, but we shouldn't act as though she wore her infamous bubble dress or Kermit get-up because bizarre clothing is some sort of normal fashion choice in her world. There's such a calculated effort on Gaga's part to dress differently and wear clothing that only serves an artistic value and has no real functional purpose, that even she must acknowledge that her fashion choices are not
normal, regardless of how frequently she has to make them.
