Miley Cyrus has reportedly said that she thinks being compared to Britney Spears is a "compliment".
The teenage singer told reporters at a recent Hannah Montana press junket that she is frequently likened to fellow popstar Spears.
"I try to look at everything in my life as positive," she explained.
"So I can either look at it and say it's negative, and look at the things she's done wrong, and say, 'How can someone compare me to her?', or I could be the positive person and look at all the amazing history that she's made, and the things that she's accomplished, and I'll take it as a compliment."
She added: "I choose to take it as a compliment."
Dolly Parton - who describes the star as her "honorary goddaughter" - recently said that she hates criticism of Cyrus and insisted that the singer is just trying to grow up, saying: "She's feeling herself through and she'll land in the right place."
I think she handles that very maturely
Though I wish she'd have bitched back about Katy.

I don't know if it is true but do you guys realize that the ones that should have their mouth shut because they are lucky to be on top and they are totally overrated are the likes of Katy Perry and Ke$ha? The real good ones never say anything about each other
