Demi Lovato announced on Twitter that she has begun recording her next album.

In case you don’t know who Dapo Torimiro is, he’s a multi-platinum producer, songwriter, musician and singer. A lot of his production work has been with R&B/Soul artists, such as John Legend (“
Quickly 
”), Brandy (“
Torn Down 
”) and Toni Braxton (“Woman”), but he’s worked with younger, poppier artists to, like Jordin Sparks (“No Parade”), Jesse McCartney (“UP)”, Justin Bieber (“Overboard” & “Bigger”) and David Archuleta (“Runnin”).
This isn’t the first time that Demi has actually collaborated closely with some legitimate musicians, after she worked with both John Mayer and Jon McLaughlin on her last album Here We Go Again.
Here We Go Again managed to top the Billboard 200 when it was released last year, and spawned a top twenty hit with the title track, but failed to generate any other charting singles, and by the end of its run it had pushed less than 400k in total. Demi actually has talent and can sing, so the God awful Hollywood Records are going to need to focus on longevity instead if just big first week numbers.
So, who’s album are you more excited for: Selena Gomez or Demi?
