It does seem dramatic but they seem to be working from actual stories concerning Facebook. Facebook was once thought to be a stolen idea (I did not keep up to see if it was proven or not) and it really was created by Mark to have an online yearbook of some sort for his school. It was once just a site for college kids who had a college email or were invited by a college/high school member and now almost anyone can join! Due to that and many other changes, it really has been in the news concerning privacy lawsuits. Also, many businesses are getting into making their mark through the site, while the site is slowly learning how to generate revenue while keeping it free for the members. The site's been through a lot and is part of many people's lives, so this movie doesn't really seem that dramatic
