after the Grammys she took about 3 months off (since her first leg of the Funhouse World Tour lasted from Feb 2009 till December 2009) . Then from May 2010, she started rehearsing and preparing for her summer tour in stadiums across Europe.

***EDIT: During her break she did that collab with Eminem as well as 2 songs on Herbie Hancock's new album. Almost forgot that.

Check out the size of those venues. she's playing to crowds of 27,000 to 65,000 per venue and broke her personal record for attendance in Hampden stadium, Glasgow. 10 more concerts left for Europe and then rumors of another tour in the US as well as Australia . She's a friggen robot .!!!!!!!!

I didn't even expect her to be on Forbes since she doesn't endorse any product or come out with a perfume deal or fashion etc. She just tours and tours. Maybe that's why her she has managed a fairly large and dedicated fanbase...but judging by her concerts, the majority of her fan base are not teens but middle aged couples and lesbians ....so they're less likely to spend their time in music forums hahahaha...ok sorry bad joke.

It doesn't say she's taking the entire year off. It just says she's taking a break in 2011. The article even mentioned it was uncertain how long she'd break for. She needs time to get inspired by something new anyways.

why, its not a joke, its very true. She has a huge and a very loyal fanbase, but you won't see many people going around on different forums and stanning for her, because she mostly appeals to people over 20, as she creates more serious music compared to the female artists of her age group.

Pink has worked hard this era, but mostly this work included her touring non-stop. She became a stadium act, which means that her fanbase is rapidly growing and she really is turning into the biggest female artist in the game

P! NK: I work harder than any other: you can not see me on magazine covers and even in the advertising, because I tour constantly and have no time for such nonsense. For me, its about the music. Not the party afterwards.

I love how she just keeps getting bigger and bigger with every album she releases, i still think she's underrated, that girl has some huge talent.

I'm sad that she's taking a break but oh well she kinda needs it. She will comeback stronger than ever with another #1 smash hopefully
