Hmmm, something about him is a bit off. I'm not sure what it is. He has a nice voice, but he just doesn't scream star to me. The dancing from him seems a little awkward too... and what in the world was up with the shirtlessness with the black guy...?
its a good song guys give him a break he is a newcomer people get better through experience and am glad he takes the risk of dancing , playing instruments , singing and being Caucasian in a genre populated by mostly African Americans.....how many artists do you know that can do all that. i like him and i really think yall should really listen to his other stuff before you judge. go J Lewis
This boy is just another pop artist using urban beats. Nothing new.
lol this a rnb song i would know i embeded the song and the song is a rythmic crossover and was made popular thru rnb blogs ps not every white singer out there is a pop singer and thats why when people like him try to dance , they get stereotyped of being bad cause his white...and lol on "nothing new" i dnt know of any other artist out there who is Caucasian plays multiple instrunments dances produces sings and songwrites all in one.... but maybe its just me i live under a rock....

1. This isn't R&B. Even iTunes has it labeled as Pop.
2. Nobody mentioned race, so sit.
3. Plenty of caucasian artists sing/dance/write/produce and make the same type of music J. Lewis is making.
4. I don't care about him playing instruments because Dancin For Me doesn't showcase any of that.
Nothing sets him apart from Justin Timberlake, Justin Beiber, Jesse McCartney, ect. Like I said this isn't new because you can turn on your radio and hear the same type of songs being played, so yes you clearly live under a rock.

lol have you even watched the video or heard the song itself his playing an electric guitar and thats what the main beat is backed up by and you want to bring justin bitchber who never writes any of his **** nor produces for himself for a fact...he plays a basic 6 string guitar which any chld out there can play and all the rest of those artist u mentioned yea am pretty sure none play any instruments....maybe listen to some of his other songs before you start classifing cause u first of all dnt know **** about him...he uses live instruments and live sounds in pretty much all the songs he does which makes him uniquely better from all this other artists or of any other rnb artist out there for that matter.and itunes isnt king of the world for 1 not everyone has internet access so what they say on itunes isnt truely right but if u knew nything bout the song u'd kno its already signed a rythmic crossover on radios tht means this song is going to be played mostly on african amercan radios then white folks radios and those types of radios dear dont play pop or rock music...but u can argue all u want seeing tht u trying so hard to prove my ignorance...i'll be under the rock
And thats jus to prove a lil life lesson to any of yall viewing the page..u shud really get to know an artist before you judge....dont just fall straight into stereotypics and say that he sux this and sux that or dances bad so what if he dances bad atleast he plays an electric guitar pretty beastly , i dont know of any rnb artist out there doin that..dont jus go straight into bashing this kid..give him a try...he is really talented and if you liked this single u should check out some of his other unreleased stuff on youtube. J Lewis
Death at having your **** played on Rhythm/Crossover making you an R&B artist and your songs R&B. I guess we should label Katy Perry, La Roux, David Guetta, & others as R&B acts now since their **** also gets played on there. Also, they do play pop, but hardly ever Rock or Country. Get your facts straight.
An example of an R&B male Caucasian artists would be Robin Thicke & Jon B, not J. Lewis. Judging by Dancin For Me, and the other songs I heard by him on Youtube he is nobody's R&B artist. Didn't someone in here earlier just say theyir local POP station has been playing this song like crazy? Exactly. Also, nobody even brought up race except you.

The truth is that there is nothing special about his music, because its being done already. Nothing sets him apart, nothing major. I do like the song though

Log off.
well u do know what they say..ignorance is bliss lol Now for the last time cuz its pretty pointless arguing with u ...know ur facts before u get on to judging thats why u judge this artist as pop artist and then straight onto sayin tht he sucks or not bringing nything new to the table. what u saw on tht page with artists like david guetta is mainstream lol man ur funny now what mainstream is cuz obviously u dnt know **** bout ths is its the music that gets played the moct commercially or on top radio station...thts were u find artists like david guetta katy perry and la roux and i already explained what rythmic crossover was and because ignorance is bliss i will just mke this short nd stop arguing with you till he starts gettin played on the radio and u will obviously see what i ment cuz its irrelevant arguing with u when i kno for fact tht u dnt know **** about the topic but again argue all u want and when he starts gettin played on radio u decide if he his an rnb or pop artist cuz its pointless to me makin sense with some1 like u.

You sound like a complete retard. Make sense.
Both iTunes & Amazon have this **** labeled as Pop, and I bet any radio updates will show you that it has more plays on Pop than Rhy.
You tried to use that song being added to that format as an excuse to label him as an R&B act. He isn't and neither is this record. I don't have to wait for radio to decide what type of artist he is. His songs on Youtube are pop, and so is this record. Both Amazon & iTunes agree with me.
I'm not replying to this thread anymore nor am I reading your paragraph long run on sentences or your retarded way or short-handing words that have no business being shortened.
How much is entertainment getting paid for his stanning services?
J. Lewis is moderately pretty to look at, but if this is the sort of music he intends to release, I'm afraid he's doing nothing to make himself distinct and will go nowhere fast.
