Jessica Simpson has denied that she is planning on collaborating with Katy Perry for a music project.

It was previously reported that Simpson wanted to work with Perry to help get her career back on track.

"Jessica is busy working on new songs and a new direction and has a number of names she would love to collaborate with," a source previously said.
