Linkin Park have set a September 14th release date through Machine Shop Recordings/Warner Bros. for their new album “A Thousand Suns“. The group recorded the outing with Rick Rubin (Slayer, U2) and band frontman Mike Shinoda handling the production duties. The song “The Catalyst” will serve as the first single from the release and will debut at radio on August 02nd.
Furthermore, audio stems of the aforementioned track will be made available online tomorrow, July 09th, allowing fans to create a remix of the track for possible inclusion on the album itself. More on that can be found over at Linkinpark.com.
