Label politics have delayed JoJo’s new album All I Want Is Everything, but the good news is that the project is nearing completion and a single should be out soon. The 19-year-old songstress stopped by Rap-Up’s Pre-BET Awards Lounge to update us on her next LP.

Get up to speed on her latest direction, who she’s been in the studio with lately, the status of her viral video “In the Dark,” and whether we’ll get an album in our hands by the year’s end.

They have been talking about "In The Dark" like forever and still nothing, not even a snippet.

And she needs to release something by the end of the year.

I mean i know everything isnt up to her, but DAMN this is the longest ive ever waited for any album. Im happy with all of the collabs though. Shes got Danja, Pharrell, Chad Hugo, Jim Jonsin, Darkchild, Timbaland, and alot others so im proud about thyat. Im worried about leaks though. When a artist sits on material long enough the material begins to leak, and i DO NOT want that happening or ill just have to set out on a trip to Blackground / Interscope and make some ****ing rearrangements of my own. This **** is getting ridiculous

She needs to get her hair back to how it looked like in the scene where she was on that car around the 1st chorus in the "Too Little Too Late" video. That's probably the best she ever looked.

All together about 30 tracks leaked, that was pretty scary but she said they wont be on the album on dont scratch the surface of what shes working on so i was happy with that because those leaks were good, but not good enough

I remember some were just demos, I'm sure the final versions would have been perfect.

I think they will release the 1st official single around November and that we'll get "In The Dark" in late September or early October.
I hope they don't pick a January release date for the album

They havent picked one yet i dont think, they'd be fools to release after Christmas though.

She does REALLY well with first singles, and all of her first singles came around during summer. But im gonna keep praying we get something. Last night i did, and waalaa, i woke up to this. Im sure everything will work out for the better, and then again she has ALOT of competition and if her label is trying to wait it out, i forsure will side with them on that. Sure, JoJo has had a #3 on the Hot 100 and a #1 on the pop charts, but this era deserves the world and with Katy Perry about to blow up, and the Lady Gaga's wheres a spot for the type of artist JoJo is? you know? so i pray everything will work out when the time is right and im sure it will
