TT is a party-smash, CG is a summer-smash. As easy as it is.
You're listening to POP music, you really expect it to be that diverse and authentic? Expect even more of the TT and IGF "clones" to come in the future.
This sort of mentality is why music is in the dumps. Just because it's "pop" doesn't mean we should just have one great pop record and clone it until eternity.

Exactly, Gaga is making great pop music that doesn't recycle old music....wait scratch that. She made SOME pop music that didn't recycle old music
Oh, boy. Get off Gaga's alleged penis. TiK ToK sounds nothing - and I mean nothing - at all like "Just Dance." Not even a little bit. Aren't people tired of these lazy Gaga comparisons yet? It's LAZY to compare a "dance/club" song by another female artist to Gaga. Ridiculous.
Anyway, TiK ToK > California Gurls. I like Katy Perry, and I want to like California Gurls, but it's not doing it for me. It feels a little too rehashed without the oomph and originality that TiK ToK had. Hopefully, Dr. Luke doesn't pull anymore Ryan Tedders in the future. It makes me worried that the mass audience eats up these remakes of the same song because it sends a message to the producers that, "Oh, they liked it... again. That means I got away with it. I'm going to do it a few more times with different artists." Worrying.
