I had to go to Virginia once with my family. We went to some hotel and I had to ask where our room was. Wait before I continue my story, I always confuse our and are. When I speak, I say it's "are stuff" when I really know I mean "our" stuff. Okay whatever, back to the story. Ok so I started speaking to the receptionist, and he told me "are you from phialdeplhia". I was, so I told him how do you know. And he was like "Because you speak so fast, I can't understand anything you say." Then he was like "do you speak spanish," and I said yes. So he started speaking in spanish because that was his native language, so it is easier to communicate in. He started speaking so fast I couldn't understand, so I told him "I can't understand anything you say, you speak too fast" I then realized that I spoke fast too, and I know how it feels to be on the opposite end of it, because I hate when people ask me to repeat myself

Most of them are though everyone thinks they're dumb for a reason, but I know there's always exceptions

I blame the media and these reality/TV shows on why other countries think us Americans are dumb BUT don't generalize and think that is how all of us act like because of what the media and television puts out there. Yes, United States has a high rate of obesity but I know I am not fat and I know many other Americans who aren't either and they are many highly educated Americans too.
