Fall Out Boy bassist sets up new band
Pete Wentz, the bass guitar player from Fall Out Boy, has started a new band.
He announced the first details about the group, who are named
Black Cards, on a blog post on his website.
The bass guitar player gave little information away about his new act, but promised new material will start appearing from as early as next week in a "very controlled distribution", reports NME.
Wentz told Fall Out Boy fans: "
If it's not for you then we understand.
"
[But] if you enjoy it, keep coming back."
A website has been set up for Black Cards, but its only current feature is a sample of new track Club Called Heaven.
Last November, Fall Out Boy announced they were going to take an "indefinite break".
No official reason was given for the decision by the band, who released a greatest hits album entitled Believers Never Die at the back end of last year.
