"Stronger" didn't
come out of nowhere. It was released almost 2 months after "CTMN". "Stronger", "Gold Digger", "Heartless" were all mainstream-success follow-ups to the lead single. It's been his strategy for years...and they all released close to the album.
808s was obviously not a typical rap album, so "LLD" did better naturally.
I'm guessing a second single will come within the month, and possibly be released simultaneously to iTunes with "Power".
