Maybe because of the poor first single choice (even though I like the song)... maybe because she basically promoted the album only the week it was released, idk... I really love the album and it's great compared to what's out there.

I don't agree. It is a bit more "toned down" in terms of her vocals, but she did use her voice.

But ok, we have different opinions and you don't seem to be that bad of a person, it's just you say you "like" her or her voice or whatever, and you are still one of the many people to first open a new thread that contains some negative news about Christina. But... you still "like" her and find her talented. That's just strange to me.

Why tone something down that doesn't need toned down? That's like telling Jennifer Hudson to start recording songs like Ke$ha.

I love the old Christina and her voice is still one of the best in the music industry....I'm just so disappointed with this new direction and extremely let down by all of it.

I made this thread because M.I.A's comments kinda floored me even though with all of these low expectations and negative energy that's been around Christina, I shouldn't have been surprised. You can take me making the thread in a negative way if you want to, but really I think if you are a true Christina fan you'd see that she's not headed down the right path musically.

No I posted it because I searched for it on ATRL and couldn't find it and I was also surprised at M.I.A's comments.

Either way, whether already posted or not, you still can't deny the facts that Christina didn't want to use her amazing voice that made her famous very much on her new album.
