So we're the crazy ones talking about falsehood...but you're the one saying that Bush was illegally elected when there was nothing official to back up those claims. Even if people didn't like Bush, they had an option to replace him with Kerry in 2004 but no one did. People always look to blame somebody else but THEMSELVES.

I'm not a Democrat or a Republican...I'm an American and ultimately that's what it should be about...sadly that principle is getting lost in our ever expanding government these days. Like GaGaFan said - there are so many other things that need handled other than controlling the internet...why in the hell does this need to be passed now? Does that not sound fishy to anyone else?!...and why is the media not blasting this man for such a 'Big Brother' move? If Clinton or Bush...or hell, any other politician around the world tried this they would have been ridiculed and mocked for trying to control the world.

It would still end with everyone blaming him - look at the country we live in. We blamed Bush for some things he didn't have total control over. He's the President, he's the one people will be looking at and should be looking up to, not looking at as a disgrace.

No, not at all....aside from attending basketball games, trips to Hawaii and a night on the town to visit NYC Broadway - Obama has not helped those in the Gulf Coast still suffering from Hurricane Katrina...better yet, he rarely acknowledges them and to make matters worse, he approved off shore drilling AND allowed oil companies loose regulations that eventually resulted the Gulf Oil spill.

The troops are still in Iraq/Afghanistan...

I really don't like bashing Obama, but really people - we need to look at the facts. He is running us into a debt and environmental trauma that WE will have to deal with sooner rather than later.

....and in regards to the internet "kill switch"....it wouldn't matter if you live in a different country since much of the internet runs through the United States.

Listen to what Congressman Joe Liberman just said (you may remember him because he ran for Vice President in 2004):

"Right now, China, the government, can disconnect parts of its Internet in a case of war. We need to have that here, too."

...I really cannot believe he is sighting China as our model to adopting this policy. COMMUNIST CHINA.......CHINA where you can't even use GOOGLE without filtered results.
