What area (state or city) should be mentioned next in songs?
We've had:
Augustana - Boston
Jay-Z - Empire State of Mind
Katy Perry - California Gurls
LMFAO - I'm In Miami Bitch
What area deserves to be represented next from the list? (Tried thinking of places that have a good chance of it happening)

Ireland isn't an option, or in the country. But we should be represented

Something in the midwest. I hate all of these songs talking about the east or west coast. There's no good midwest songs!!!!!

I'm sorry but the Midwest offers nothing to drive the song to success on a non-Country format.

You forgot WAKING UP IN VEGAS by Katy Perry
And I go for
CHICAGO
we need a POP/ROCK song for it, maybe by Kelly Clarkson or even Lee DeWyze

Detroit has Eminem, Mike Posner, Kid Rock and Terria Marie (she can't do it though)
Chicago has Kanye enough though he already made a song about it.

I could see one to do good. Call it home field advantage, but I could see one of the happier Midwest states get a good cross-over song.
