This is RARE for a canadian artist. Canada doesnt even promote hip-hop. They have only one Urban station, and they watch America's BET. In 1989, Maestro debuted Symphony in Effect which almost went double platinum with just over 190,000 copies sold, which still remains one of the best hip hop albums that Canada has seen.

Well it's just strange for anyone except the Beatles (like their remastered CDs and collections) to sell over 100k in one week, so I don't think Drake actually sold all 100k of TML (since CRIA certs are for shipments, not sales).

I had no idea that the diversity in music is that BAD in Canada. Good lord! It's really scary.
Other Canadians just in case RudeBoy was being ignorant. Canada has a variety of people like US, UK, etc. too. Plus most of the Degrassi cast are Jewish including Drake along with Lauren Collins, Stacey Farber, Jake Epstein... and so on.
