Is IT the video game, no. Is it BASED on the video game, yes.
That's what most of the gamer nerds can't quite comprehend and make a false impression on the movie. Any movie adaption is going to be BASED on something. People need to realize it's not going to BE anything like it's adaption. If you want it to be like the video game 100%, then play it.
Resident Evil has elements from the game, zombies, dogs, crows, the T-Virus, the Anti-Virus, some characters.
And I really get pissed off reading negative comments about the series solely because "It's not like the video game."
