This is actually true. It's as if the general public only cared about her during the "Stripped" era, before and after there wasn't much interest bar some singles. Although, "Back to Basics" did okay.
It's been seven years since she had a #1 hit there. Her past leading singles, NMT and KGB, peaked outside the top 10.

Even Stripped was more of a UK hit than a World hit. She sold 6 out of the 8 million in the US and UK alone. She's no World star. Never was.
