Madonna's got some talents for entertainement as her tours grossing and memorable VMA's performances can prove it.
Also, many people respect her artistic vision for her videos or concept albums (Ray Of Light, American Life, Like A Prayer & Erotica mostly).
Timeless music ? Checked ! I mean who doesn't know Like A Virgin, Holiday, Get Into The Groove, La Isla Bonita, Like A Prayer, Vogue, Frozen, Music, Hung Up ?
She's just too memorable at this point and will never lose her crown since she was the first pop Queen.
Talent is not what defines an icon or what makes them stay an icon.
Marilyn was considered talentless (she sure wasn't IMO) and she's the biggest female icon we've ever seen.
Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Cher, Judy Garland, Kurt Cobain or Mariah Carey, for example, wouldn't be legends if it wasn't also for all the dramas, controversies & up/down they have known.
They have truly impacted the pop culture universe.
People like flawed/relatable individuals. And having the X-factor could be considered a talent since it's not something you learn. You just have it or you don't, I guess.
I know what you feel, except for some of her music I don't even like her.
But you can't deny the truth and the fact that she had the most incredible career ever for a female popstar...

I'll read this mess later.. I guess it isn't all that surprising that most ATRL members don't value talent..
