Beyonce Considers Retiring The ‘Single Ladies’ Routine
Are you sick of the ‘Single Ladies’ dance? Well if the reports are accurate then Beyonce is as well. News stories have stated that the vivacious entertainer is ready to retire the routine that turned the 2008 song into a mega hit. Check out what they had to say below:
“Beyoncé loves the fact the video and the routine have been so huge and has really enjoyed performing ‘Single Ladies’ live but that’s it now, she’s moving on. She doesn’t want to be part of a long-term joke, [but] that’s not to say she doesn’t get a big kick out of watching other people do it.”
Well this certainly does not come as a surprise. Having to perform that high-energy routine at every event for the rest of her life must be a startling prospect for Beyonce to imagine. Furthermore, she has grown increasingly bored of other songs such as ‘Bootylicious’ and ‘Bugaboo’ as well so it was only a matter of time before ‘Single Ladies’ joined that list. Besides, it’s doubtful that anyone expects Beyonce to be shaking her backside and tossing her lacefront at the age of 60.
