Nope. I've followed it's sales closely (considering it was one of the most hyped album of 2009). Since February 2010 (when worldwidealbums.net had it at 1.3 million), the album has sold an additional 500k worldwide.

From the 8-10 million GGGB sold, to only a pathetic 1.8 million. Rihanna is just a fading it girl. I'd be mad AND delusional too.

Rihanna's never had a flop album.
Once this hits one million it will have under-performed, but not flopped.
MOTS was a debut, people didn't know her, it only had two singles and still sold 70k in its first week. Gold is performing high.
AGLM was her follow up, #1 single, and two other top tens, brought a fan base, sold over 1.2 mill=performing high.
GGGB=third album. Had 7 (8 if you wanna include Maroon 5 song) singles. Sold 2.6 mill. Had 3 #1's. Could of sold 3 mill, but still performed good.
Rated R = most recent album. One of the most anticipated albums of the year, but underperformed because of its dark sound, but still is almost at 1 mill.

GGGB sold more because it was rereleased and had 8 singles and it was dance-pop. It was out the Top 100 on the Billboard album charts before the rerelease. Rated R wasn't rereleased. It only has 4 singles and it's more urban friendly than GGGB.

Music Of The Sun, A Girl Like Me and Rated R are all flops. She's a singles act at best. An airplay singles act while we're at it. Rude Boy didn't even hit #1 on sales.

Lady Gaga as of Dec '09 had sold more than 30 million singles and 9 million copies of The Fame. She has also sold 1.1M of FM (her 2nd album) in the US alone. As of now, she has sold more than 15 million albums (combined) and over 41 million singles. GaGa is here to stay and every artist knows that Gaga is a huge driving force that ***** over everyone.

Britney, Madonna, Kelly Clarkson and Beyonce will be staying permanently. Beyonce is already working on her next album and so are Kelly, Ri-ri, Katy and Britney. These girls know that they have to work hard and continue working hard in order to stay relevant....Chris Brown anyone? GaGa however is an exception because she doesn’t rest...instead she constantly collapses. Her album is now delayed to Q1 2011 whilst she kills herself performing on a tour that never ends.

Rihanna is a really-good singer but her voice is boring and monotone; the only time I enjoyed her voice was on Rude Boy, where I found that her voice was more suited to the song. I didn't like Rated R because it was so big a leap from GGGB which was her best album and she still hasnt released a vid for Breaking Dishes, which would have been a huge hit. Her next album will be a hit and she'll spawn many hits etc, etc.

I've seen Katy Perry do performances of Cali Gurls and Ive found myself liking her even more. I like her song Futuristic Lover but I would have liked Cali Gurls to be more amazing. Her 3rd album will be amazing and it will spawn more hits etc etc. Beyonce and Kelly are safe.

Music Of The Sun was her debut album. It only had one hit and everybody thought she would be a one hit wonder yet it still went gold. A Girl Like Me and Rated R went platinum and had mutiple hits....how are they flops?

No it isn't. Everything Ciara has released is commercial. It's not about the material.
