Someone recently broke in into my house and stole my computer, I have a new one, but all the songs I bought from iTunes are gone, shouldn't they be back if I use the same account? I miss them.

No, however I know in the U.S Itunes offers to SELL you back thes songs for $ .30, but you have to buy them all together.

If you already synched you iPod, then you have to buy them all back.

I used it not too long ago when our computer crashed. It worked really well! The only setback is you can only copy over five songs at a time, so it's very time consuming, but it's well worth it.

Looking at it now you CAN buy indiviual songs back but yeah, they're still 0.30.
