I'm completely okay with it. Could "Monster" or "Dance in the Dark" have smashed? Yes, possibly. But even so, I'm ready for a brand new album.

This will give her the opening week sales numbers she needs for the third album.

I'm glad she released Bad Romance first....as much as I love Monster, it would been too clawing to have that and Telephone released after and people would be saying her songs sound the same. BR definitely was a breath of fresh air and to me that is the single that took her career to a whole new level.
