Do you think they will still have The Script on the list since it is still on the You Oughta Know list? And why would they add a video from 2008? According to VH1.com Sugarbaby's video came out in 2008.

Awful adds, awful removals.
Why is VH1 changing so much?
Now it's just corporate mainstream.
It used to be so much like The Pulse on XM Radio, now there's just too much mainstream!
Drake should have sticked to acting, I liked him as that character Jimmy in Degrassi.
Eminem is really, and was never really appropriate for VH1.
John Mayer featuring Taylor Swift, this sounds interesting. I haven't heard it so I cannot say.
Rooney, once again, haven't heard.
Removals now.
WHAT!?!?!!?!!?!?!!!!!!
They removed Keane/K'naan HOW DARE THEY!!!!!
THEN VV BROWN!!!
PLEASE SAVE ME!!!
Also really surprised about Beyonce, why so early?
The Script I am also a bit shocked, I understand it is old, but so what.
Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" (awesome song by the way) spent 28 weeks on the countdown. Santana's "Smooth" spent 30 weeks on the countdown. Hey, Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris" spent 37 weeks on the countdown. Why can't The Script spend another week?
The idea is, back when it was based on charts it seemed kind of predictable, with what was a hit and what wasn't, but videos could stay on as long as they'd like. There was not any limit against them. Also, why do videos fall off in the top 10 so frequently? I suggest remove them if they fall out of the top 10 and really just fell badly. If a video is at 8, then goes to 11, that's not really removal worthy. If it was at 8, and then strangely went to 19, then I guess a removal may be worthy. Seriously, no Jason DeRulo with a 4 to an 8 and removal or something like that.
In conclusion, this year is possibly one of the worst countdown years, even if they've had some awesome adds like Vampire Weekend, Snow Patrol, Muse, and OK Go.

The "VH1 used to be more like The Pulse [XM-026], but has become more and more mainstream and even Rhythmic" theory was something I had theorized back in July or August of 2009. I guess this was done largely due to MTV's cancellation of TRL back in November 2008.

I believe it came down to a random draw between the two videos in question.

Eminem didn't get added, probably because Vh1 doesn't have it on their website yet. I bet it will get added next week.

They might revise the playlist cause Adam's video has been postponed.
UPDATE (Thursday, 6/10 @ 6pm): Tough news to share with you guys. We just got word that Adam and his team are putting the finishing touches on the “If I Had You” video (yay!), but this means that the debut of the video is going to have to be bumped back until next week. Our apologies, we’ll bring it to you here on VH1 the second we get it in our hot little hands!
