Stuart Cable found dead (Stereophonics Drummer)
The body of a 40-year-old man, believed to be ex-Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable, has been found at his home in Wales.
Cable's death has not been officially confirmed, but his mother Mable is quoted by WalesOnline.com as saying: "Stuart has travelled all over the world with the band and I have worried myself silly. He is now settled down and then this has happens. It has not sunk in yet." His brother Paul is also quoted as saying: "The family has no further comment to make at this stage. It is in the hands of the police."
Cable rose to fame with the Stereophonics in the 1990s, but left the band in 2003 to pursue a career in TV and radio. The drummer hosted his own TV show, Cable Connects, and his own radio show on BBC Radio Wales. Recently, Cable had been drumming with a new band, Killing for Company.
South Wales Police can confirm the sudden death of a 40-year-old man at an address in Llwydcoed, Aberdare, at around 5.30am today. The cause of death has not yet been established, although there are no suspicious circumstances at this stage.
Why is everyone dying lately?
