What do these songs have in common, Trey Songz "Black Roses", Letoya Luckett's "Not Anymore", Monica "Stay or Go", or how about Chrisette Michelle "On My Own"? Stop thinking I'm going to tell you. These are amongst the many records either produced, written or both my music newest sensation Bei Maejor.
The Michigan native began his musical journey at the age of 18. A college student, he often found himself hopping off of a plane and heading straight to class. All of that hard work paid off because not only did he graduate but he also found himself in a whirlwind racking up hit a hit. In 2005 Bei Maejor placed is first record as a producer on the Trey Songz album "Gotta Make It" with his contribution "Ur Behind". That was a start of many more opportunities for this Grammy nominated producer/songwriter. By the end of 2009, he had worked with artists such as Plies, Letoya Luckett, Chrisette Michelle, Ginuwine just to name a few.
The artist who is quoted as pulling inspiration from "Everyday conversation, Love, Life, and Art", Bei Maejor kicked off 2010 on fire. Not only has he placed another record this time with Multi-Platinum, Grammy Award Winning Recording Artist Monica ["Stay or Go"] , but Bei also landed a lucrative recording deal with industry heavyweight Jive Records home of some of the biggest artist in the game these days. He has been in the studio working with Keri Hilson, T-Pain, Ciara (Featured on the "Ride" Remix) as well as working on his own debut album. When asked what the world can expect from him, he humbly replies "Greatness". I asked Bei what advice would he give up and coming producers and songwriters in the game, he said "I would tell them to get into music because they love it- not simply for the money. It's really hard to make money from this and if you don't have the passion- you will get so frustrated". And when I asked was there anything you wanna let your fans know he replied simply "Nope. Just tell em uSd ".
I would like to take this time out to thank Bei Maejor for speaking with 4real Music News! Look out for this dope Singer/Songwriter/Producer.
