Does anyone else want Schiavone to win the match now? I know I said she is a bad player, but I really want her to win this match because I'm still angry at Stosur defeating my 3 favs; Henin, Serena, and Jankovic

Hey, whoever plays the best deserves it. I wish it could have been Venus, but it wasn't her tournament (nor is it ever, stupid French Open). I've gotta hand it to Schiavone for holding it together and coming through with her first major win at almost 30 years of age!

I'll repeat what I said before. It makes you look much better to lose to the eventual winner...
I agree, I think Stosur would have been the more deserving winner. I guess defeating both Henin and Serena, the biggest names in Womens Tennis took too much out of her in the end.

Yes, if he wins he will regain the number 1 ranking.
Roger better cook something up in this half of the year if he's going to keep up with Rafa. He has a ton of points to defend especially before the US Open.
