This is very sad, but at the same time Rue lived a long successful life. When someone dies at an old age it's more natural and less a tragedy. Just because someone is a celebrity, however, we feel the loss even more than if some local elderly person died that we'd never known. I think sometimes we forget that death is part of life. It's going to happen to all of us at different times. Sad, yes, but it's the way things work.
