Electropop duo La Roux has joined forces with the producers behind Major Lazer, Diplo and Switch, to create a free mixtape, Lazerproof, that looks as crazy as it sounds. Featured on here is a combination of remixes, dubplates, and blends of tracks such as Drake's "Houstatlantavegas" and Gucci Mane's "Lemonade." It should be the perfect soundtrack for a speedy drive to the beach...or one of those nights you decide to get sweaty and drunk.

The Gucci Mane one I'm afraid to hear

^ The one with Amanda Blank is actually really good, and the Bulletproof remix is good too. The Gucci Mane one is not that bad, but it isn't great.

^ It's really growing on me.

After listening a few times, here is my review.

1. Bulletproof (Nacey Remix ft. Matt Hemerlein) - 9/10 a very good, calming remix of the song

2. Colourless Artibella - 8/10 pretty good summer relaxing track with waves and chill instrumental and verse by Major Lazer at the end.

3. I’m Not Your Lemonade + Heroes ‘N’ Villains Remix ft. Gucci Mane - 10/10 This song surprised me a lot. The first part is okay, but then when Gucci comes in Elly sings a new verse about lemonade over him. It's so good.

4. Independent Kill ft. Candi Redd - 8/10 Basically Candi just rapping over In For The Kill instrumental.

5. Keep It Fascinating - 10/10 This remix is really, really good. It has a thumping beat, and this radndom, but cool chipmunk thing in the back.

6. Magic (Falling Soldiers Dub) - 10/10 This one is also really good, the Lazer chorus is awesome. It is really a beautiful song and it fits together beautifully.

7. In 4 The Kill Pon De Skream - 7/10 Essentially the Skream Let's Get Ravey remix with some random nopises in the back.

8. Houstatlantavegas Pains ft. Drake - 7/10 Not as good as I thought, but the two songs work well together.

9. Tigerlily (DYWHAP Blend) ft. Rusko - 9/10 A pretty good remix, there are screaming children in the background (sounds like something off an M.I.A. album). But pretty good.

10. Can’t Stop Now (Armor Love Remix) - 7/10 Has a great reggae verse in the beginning, but it's not my favorite.

11. Quicksand (Mad Decent 2010 Rerub) ft. Amanda Blank - 10/10 This song is pure fire. However, it's highly explicit - Amanda Blank has a very sexual verse during the beginning. Takes Quicksand to a whole new level.

12. Cover My Eyes (Costra Nostra Edit) - 7/10 This song is alright. The beat is the same throughout with the 'hey's by Major Lazer.

13. I Said It (Major Lazer Dubplate) ft. Opal- 7/10 I can't actually find La Roux on this one, it's just some random lady named Opal rapping, but she's pretty hard to hear.

14. Hold Yuh (Double Dubplate) ft. Gyptian - 10/10 Probably one of my favorites on the whole album. This is not a remix, it's a whole new track. Elly doesn't sing much but she fits in perfectly with the track. This is an awesome summer track. This might be going a little far, but I could hear it on the radio.
