Not promoting is a valid excuse for something not doing good beyond initial hype. I mean, you're a GaGa stan. "Bad Romance", "Telephone" & "Alejandro" all didn't take off until promotion/videos/Idol came about.

Certain artists don't need die hard promotion for their first and even second singles to be a huge success. It's quite sad when your first and COMEBACK single is a disaster. I haven't seen many fanbases complain about promotion in the 1st-2nd singles. But promotion is practically needed once you get deeper in an album's era.

And Xtina stans have used excuses. #FailShade.

Even if this album, which hasn't been released yet, fails and flops, she will always be a legend and the voice of this generation. It's gonna be kinda hard for her to be irrelevant with that voice. Not to mention she will always have a very dedicated fanbase and the obsessed haters (insecure stans from the other fanbases) talking about her.

Haters won't keep her career afloat.

I cant even with these X stans. if i put all the times she's shaded britney, etc or other valid criticisms, they'll still continue to plug their ears and go ladeda what? legend.

I can never take someone seriously when their obsession with an Artist clouds their judgment, and evidently that is the case with you. She cannot be known as the voice of this generation because she has never been a defining Artist in this generation. Her voice is amazing yes, but she hasn't done much with it. In order to warrant such a title she would have had to have had much more success than she had. Also, if her fanbase was as dedicated as you suggest then she would always have success, evidently that has not been the case. Her remaining fans may be loyal, but there's not many of them left. If her career continues to decline at the pace in which it is currently plummeting then she'll be an irrelevant has-been by the time she releases her next record, and true to form that will probably be in another four years time.

maybe if she didn't have a stank attitude then she wouldn't be where she is, talking down about artist, no, you don't come back after not being here for so long... and automatically assume everyone who didn't embrace you before is going to EMBRACE you now.....

Only thing I can think about right now is Kanye, where his stank attitude has gotten him, he IS talented, the man can right, but I ain't' buying anything that his... I'll tell you that much..

clean up the 'tude and you can see a lot less people HATE you.
