Madonna could be the new American idol judge. She is the latest celebrity to be linked to replace Simon Cowell on American Idol. The Sun is reporting that Madonna is on top of the wishlist on who should be the Idol judge. Madonna has yet to comment on it. They also reported that if it doesn't happen she will at least become a mentor for next season. Madonna is a good choice, I would like to see her take over.
Simon Fuller stated that he wanted another Music Producer to replace Simon, so I doubt that.
Anyway, what is the point in FOX having two singing competitions that run for both parts of the year. It's a waste of airtime for them to have American Idol and The X Factor, they should make next season the last, and leave it at that.
