According to some rumors circulating on the Internet, after many people thinking that Lavigne should play the role of 'Alice' in Alice In Wonderland the latest successful film of Tim Burton,
Avril Lavigne will play 'Sleeping Beauty' in the forthcoming production of Tim. The director reportedly said in an interview that the Canadian would be the ideal girl to give birth to Princess Aurora and still expected to propose to her. Burton plans to release "Sleeping Beauty" in mid-2013.

Remembering that this news may be just a rumor, as we have nothing confirmed.

Dirty talk? I'm just saying the truth. I saw her in a few movies and believe me, she can't act. She's a talented singer that makes awesome music, but she has never been an actress.

Trust me, give her some time. You can't be all good overnight! She has hypes surrounding her, I believe she'll do juz fine. As much as you wanted your fave to try all kinds of things in the industry, her fans have the same anticipation for her...

Yeah, she kinda suck in acting. I saw The Flock where she had little acting and I feel so underwhelmed by her.

I love Avril, but please no. She better do the soundtrack of the movie if this is real.

But I think taking on a leading role in a potentially huge film at this early point of her aspirations in acting could be disastrous. Maybe she should take on supporting roles first before taking on the big roles.
