This album was released officially in the UK back in 2005, it had a promo single that charted and sold a good ammount of copies. Also the physical has. Blackground logo on it.

With Anita Baker's catalog slowly back coming to Spotify, Prince's catalog scheduled to be released to streaming around the Grammys and Aaliyah's music being made available (still not available on Spotify with the exception of her first album and "I Don't Wanna)," I'm so happy.

We know this is an official release sweety, the distributor is not legitimate though. They had OIAM and Self Titled up too but Aaliyah's brother had it snatched. I don't think this will last either. I hope it's legitimate but I doubt it

Aaliyah Ultimate is for sale on all major outlets. Its label is Blackground.

Aaliyah's brother and her family are fighting with Blackground that is her main label, that's why her music is not on iTunes and Spotify and the reason behind Ultimate being able to be on iTunes is that it is distributed by other labels across Europe.

Why do I need receipts? This isn't an argument. I've been an Aaliyah stan since 1998 and I can tell you that her albums were on iTunes a few years back briefly from the exact same production company called Craze and they were pulled down.

I don't think this is up legally. Only time will tell. Also just for the record it's called Ultimate Aaliyah, so the fact that they couldn't even get that right. When they put the self titled album up years ago Extra Smooth was titled something super random also.

This album is being sold illegally, dont buy it.

You're better off buying the physical on amazon that comes with the bonus dvd
