It is an official Aaliyah release.

I have that album since 2005 in physical version and it has Blackground logo on the back. And the artwork is beautiful.

You must have mistaken labels they sued. This album was released officially in the UK back in 2005, it had a promo single that charted and sold a good ammount of copies. Also the physical has. Blackground logo on it.
