dd y'all know i'm itching to type an essay about this but I'll try and keet my opinions succint

The Prince tribute rumors have me thinking a mile a minute. If it happens Rih has to give the performance of her life. You can't **** up Prince!!! Especially since so many people would be rooting against her, she has to surprise anyone.

My dream song for her to cover is I Would Die 4 U. One of my favorite Prince songs and I think it would fit her voice. More importantly, she could bring the vulnerability and emotion it needs. I imagine Bruno will do something upbeat (Let's Go Crazy/1999) and Bruno would do something ~erotic~ and both would have dancers. Rih as the closer, just her with a band, would be a great chance to shine. So I could see it being really cool if she gives it her full, undivided attention. I'd rather her not do it if she can't give that. And that's all I'll say for now

The way I see it people are gonna talk **** no matter what. But the black community as usual will definitely be her hardest critics, especially black twitter when it comes to music legends.

The biggest take away from that rumor for me was that The Grammys obviously want her back to perform & are in contact w her / her team so whether it's a tribute or just a regular performance.... That's a good thing
