Runnin over SL, SD, DV, 6IH, SL....come on sis.

and I feel like people like you bitch & moan over everything she does. Beyonce is not reading anything on here....it's falling on deaf ears. it won't change. if ya'll understand the thinking & process behind things...maybe ya'll will find other things to talk about than going over the same things every time.
there was a time when ya'll were fuming over the fact that she WASN'T performing Runnin anywhere...look back around the time of MIA & GCF concerts when she didn't do Runnin. and when Naughty Boy performed at it the European Awards. ya'll were mad & upset then about no Runnin performances.
i'd rather hear her sing NEW material than songs we've had a thousand performances for...which includes SL, SD, Irreplaceable. so yes...i'd rather hear a fresh live performance of Runnin' that has never been done in exchange for the millionth time we've seen Diva.

Why perform Runnin in America over legit American hits though? It's a nice song, but sis... Deja Vu hasn't been performed in like....decades. Its not even one of my favorite songs, but come on.

gurl you dont even make sense; in Paris the girls and the boys were singing Party and Countdown. Those were yet moderate hits in the USA.
her setlists would become hella annoying if she only performs the IF I WERE WHITE and the BEAUTIFUL LAWYER. I need DEJA VU and CHECK ON IT back tho.

I understand that there will always be people who won't be satisfied. But I actually wouldn't mind her doing less songs in favor of upping her game even more.
I just wish that artists in general would be able to let go of expectations when it comes to tours. I said it before but she is one of the few people who's album tracks are also known by the GP. so with the right setlist choices, she could perform enough to keep it interesting for any random person, but also be able to change things up and not be limited by what she is supposed to do.
The problem is though that her discography is only growing more and more over the years and at one point she should let go of the expectations and limitations and just do her own thing. I mean when it comes to her craft she already does that. I think she could even take that further with a next tour.

The runnin that would ensue to knock her ass off the stage.
I don't there is an issue with her asking for crowd participation at her concerts. If you pay that much money to see Bey, you better know every song, even the unreleased tracks.
But at non-concert events, like the Tidal and festival shows, its like really sis. You really think they know the lyrics to Ghost? Standing there looking crazy with her mic out.

I think she had a cute set-up wirh Roseland with performing 4 seperately, but that differs per album and what kind of venue suits that record.
Also one thing I wouldn't mind doing is a themed tour. I think On The Run was a good start, but I think making seperate sections in her tour would be able to make it an even bigger spectacle.
I must say even though I ADORED the Formation Tour and she left me bald. I kinda wish she would have used the phases of Lemonade to go through the setlist and add songs per phase that fits with the sentiment of the said phase.
She is one of the very few acts these days where even random people know her album tracks, so only adding certain hit songs because they fit a current tour, shouldn't matter. Because these snippets and medleys will only make it more difficult for her in the long run. Since she has yet to peak.

100% agree with you.
I've been complaining about the setlist since night1. This was her worst. The tour should've reflected the album more.
But I think she didn't have enough time because, like I said before, she goes on vacation 5 days a week then wait until the last minute and do 48 hours rehearsals or something crazy like that
It's no small feat to finish your album and work on your tour and choreo at the same time. That's why people release their album, wait few months and start the tour.

Yeah, this is one of the few complaints I don't get. They want longer performances of songs and more songs on the setlist like there isn't a limited amount of time to fit 6 albums worth of solo material into one show while catering to 5 million different tastes in the audience.
The only solution I see this to problem is for her to do a different setlist each night but we all know that'll lead to more complaints because "why didn't she do that song at my show?" The one performance we got for Sweet Dreams and 6 Inch on tour is an example of this. Now imagine the fumes if she does Deja Vu at a Monday show and skips it for Sweet Dreams at a Wednesday show.

This is why I actually believed the rumors that the tour would have political theme. I was like, AWESOME. A theme, something we never get. But it never happened. I thought the tour would have a theme centered around Lem. It slayed though. And outside of Runnin, I don't have any complaints.
I always wanted Bey to have an elemental themed tour, where she explores fire, wind, Earth, and water.

Ι remember being riled up when i purchased my tickets in February. I was afraid she was gonna pull a MCST tea with a revamped tour later on with the album release

And another reason some of us want old stuff is because a lot of her new material DOES NOT translate well live at all. Without the band on stage she either has just herself or 50million dancers to fill the space and sometimes the performances just end up hollow. I see what she's trying to do with 6 inch but both versions she's literally laying down, like she has to realize that that brings the energy down

A perfect set list is: 40% of your new material. 60% of your greatest hits. 20-22 songs.
So 5-6 Lemonade songs. She can even do 8 Lemonade songs. Then fill the rest accordingly.
And honestly it doesn't matter what she likes to perform or not, her tickets are some of the most expensive ones, give people a show they want to see. All the touring legends are performing songs that are older than Crazy In Love.
