S3 renewal yassss!

We just need one more renewal to make sure we reach the end of the storyline they planned.

In other news I loved the 2 episodes. I gasped when the Paula thing happened, I was rooting for that marriage.
The songs were cute (I cackled at George/Gene/Garry's interrupted solo). I'm hoping we get another punch in the stomach song like Stupid Bitch soon too. The hints of her starting to see Josh for the loser he is finally has me excited for the shift in plot they're hinting at. Though I don't really expect them to set up another love triangle with the new guy they added, it feels like the kind of obvious thing they tend to subvert.

Sidepoint: Did anyone spend the 2 episodes just screaming at the TV 'WHAT ABOUT VALENCIA!?'. I hope their new friendship doesn't **** up over this stupid decision to get back together with Josh. The next episode shows them talking about it

I don't know. I'm really side-eyeing the way they ended Josh's relationship just to put him back with Rebecca so quickly. Obviously it won't last forever, but them bringing in yet another love interest to end it is also... annoying. But like you said, every time I've felt this way about CEG they subvert and rebound in interesting ways so we'll see!

I see what you're saying but I'm confident that they're only like threatening us with another love triangle to subvert it. Maybe he'll turn into the purely male friend that Rebecca is lacking since she seems to treat the men in her lives as love interests (Greg) or somewhat obsolete (Trent/Hector and even Darryl).

I didn't have an issue with him and Becks getting back together because I thought it was hinted at quite well with how she's still obsessed with him and pretending to move on and especially with the revelation of how he's never not had a partner and can't function without someone adoring him. I think the fact that it was back to back episodes added to the feeling of 'well that was quick'.

If I had to guess I'd say that this reunion is kind of to set up her actually breaking from him next season

I'm not sure on how this show will continue, it feels like they are going to milk it and it's something I hate. They should just make Rececca focus on how to love herself in her third season. No more Josh please!
