a lot of amazing and legendary artists have never had a number one. I stan for quality moreso then for chart positions.

yes, there are amazing artists that didn't peak at #1 on US Hot 100 because sometimes Americans don't have taste for actual talent

Why wouldn't I? Some of the best songs I've heard haven't even charted, so a #1 is irrelevant.

No. Whenever i hear a song i like on radio, I shazam it, then quickly Google the artist that sings it. I'm only allowed to listen to that song as many times as the artist has #1 singles. Only Hot100 #1s count, no worldwide charts allowed.
