I thought it could of been better. The harmonies/chorus is flawless but I'm not into the Halo vocals she uses on the verses at all, it just doesn't fit the summery production imo. If she were to use Naughty Girl type vocals during those verses it would of been so much better.
I'm still shook. But I don't think it would fit on the standard.
It deserved its own album with Grown Woman and other bright tropical/afrobeat songs.
I think something in that vein was planned for "4" at first but it turned out to be a more traditional rnb/pop alberm. Such a loss. She was near to make the successor to B'day, a gem in the making. SOTS is very catchy, it's Summertime 2.0.
