Send My Love's success is obviously much more impressive considering 25 sold almost 20 million, but Side To Side is bigger sales-wise too. It'll end up outselling Send My Love both WW and in the US despite smashing in a weaker sales market.

both were released in the same year, it's just a 3 month difference(plus send my love didn't initially smash, it took time)
The one that is a legitimate hit, comes from a diamond album, didn't need a feature to become a hit, and wasn't force-fed to the GP through the AMAS/VMAs etc.

Some of Send My Love's sales were before it was even a single though, like during album release week. And sales have declined massively from 2015 to 2016.
