A group of rappers carrying real guns while dressed as bank robbers for a music video had some explaining to do when police officers arrived on set.
Rappers Tru Keezy and Yung Groovy failed to notify authorities in Lake Jackson, Texas, before they started filming outside a TDECU credit union on New Year's Day.
Police drew their guns, thinking the rappers were attempting a real bank robbery, and Tru Keezy said: 'With all the stuff going on right now, man, we're blessed not to be shot.'
The rappers carried four unloaded guns, including a Glock pistol and a 12-gauge shot gun, according to KPRC.
They also wore black face masks and even brought their own bags of fake money in preparation for the music video shoot.
But they failed to notify authorities, and police arrived at around 1.45pm on Sunday with their guns drawn, thinking it was a real robbery.
Tru Keezy admitted it was a 'bad idea' and tried to reassure police that their guns were not loaded.

Tru Keezy, whose real name is Jynquay Laws, said: 'Thank god for not shooting me, my bros.
'Next time we'll let you all know if we're going to do something like that. And I commend ya'll for standing by your badge,' he added.
Tru Keezy had an outstanding warrant for a misdemeanor, and was ordered to pay $1,700, according to KPRC.
