I wanna buy the album just to support her in her opening week, but from the clips I heard I wasn't blown away by the majority of the album. :-/
i had the same sentiments when i listened to the 30sec itunes previews. thought it was underwhelming. but i still bought the album just to support her and was glad that it didnt disappoint. you need to listen to them completely to appreciate them. true most of the songs are slow ones but none of them feels like being just "fillers" for the album.
Towlerload, on the the hand, writes, "Charice's Diane Warren-penned ballad "Note to God" is a real showstopper. And she throws down the gauntlet on the multi-octave spine tingler "Thank You." Watch your back, Mariah; you’re not the only angel scaling the heavenly heights anymore."
Congrats Charice! II really hope US radios will start playing Pyramid to a full extent now that she finally made her first television promotion for it.
This is the latest Itunes ranking, she moved up 3 places
Expect to see her album to rank in either the top 10 or Top 20 in the Billboard 200, a feat that have not been done by any other asian artist who tried to crack the American Market...she already is the sole asian artist with a #1 track in the Billboard chart.
