I had the unfortunate pleasure of walking though a Macy's last month, only to see that nothing has changed since I was last in one as a small child. This is why businesses die.

Macy's didn't have a great reputation in NC since they were essentially selling Belk level merchandise at higher prices. Why not just go to Belk and pay the cheaper price instead?
