As a fat person, almost all the chubby chasers I've met are emotionally crippled because they're gay, they're trying to act like they're straight or something and the moment you're starting to feel something for them they run away, because "love is gay". I'm starting to think, as an overweight gay person, I will never find love.

You can't put them all in that category. Fact is there's ALOT of gays who are still in conflict with their sexuality, it happens. However, chubby chasers are attracted to bigger men and that's it some also happen to be confused and some dont. Your experience with a couple doesn't mean all will follow suit.
