Julia is the MVP of this show. Her story is so tragic and amazing. Read the books if you want to find out more. Quinten is SO annoying and I can barely tolerate him.
I'm surprised at how watchable I find the show. I hope the characters get less annoying as well. Less broody and more fun.
My main thing is that I'm hoping that the new season doesn't spend too long in Narnia. With all magic/school setting I'm much more interested in watching these people's powers grow as they experiment.
I need Julia to slay everyone. I haven't read the books yet, but I read somewhere she got the short stick in season one? Something draws me to her character, even though she can be messy.
Julia is practically stronger than all of them bar Alice. her broody character makes sense. She's my fav character too.

@bolded. I know what you mean. Her story is more entertaining compared to Quinten and more tragic. I love underdogs and she's one in the books.
Julia barely appears in Book 1 She even asked Quinten for help and he brushed her off. She was extremely depressed.
they have a real problem w/ explaining things in this show ...... rather , they don't explain things very well or at all sometimes and u kinda gotta just keep rolling w/ what's going on
that being said , this is decent as like a bootleg, knockoff , college-y Harry Potter. i blew thru the first season in like a day
and ya , Julia and the hedge witch stuff is honestly the most compelling part of the show , most of the Brakebills cast are terrible , lawd do not get me started on Alice

I think Reynard took her human soul and she ended up losing all her human emotions, feelings and memories(which were barely there). She basically turned into goth without all the make up. She wore all black in everything but she became super powerful. I think there was one scene where Elliot was telling Quinten how he met her and she was basically laying in a burning fireplace and crying. The fire did her nothing. It was really sad.
