I love Lauren but Dinah is easily the better vocalist. She is certainly not "almost always out of breath and off key"... the only songs on tour where breath control really affects her vocals are WFH and TMG (maybe BBW to a lesser extent), and even then her pitch is still good, her vocals are just too breathy. And she only lip-synced two WFH performances - one where her mic wasn't working and one where she was sick.

Whether there is hype around her or not has nothing on her vocal ability. A lot of the songs of 5H are basically recorded to let one to at the most 3 members shine, the rest of the girls basically sound nice on those songs in studio but have a hard time making them come alive, because they don't fit their tone or whatever.

Nicole Scherzinger is probably one of the best vocalists out there, but if you just watch performances of When I Grow Up, Right There and Bottle Pop, you would think she is a bloody talentless singer. Those songs just were recorded in a way that it is almost impossible to make them sing in a live setting, unless they would change the arrangement completely..

Work From Home may be 5H biggest hit, but Ally and Dinah also struggle their way through the song most of the time. Has nothing to do with the girls, but more with the material and the producers.

This was when the group was being formed. Dinah wouldn't have been in Fifth Harmony if her bootcamp performance was flawless. She would've been a solo act on The X Factor.

Honestly, all the girls of 4H could easily go solo, and do well.

All have a distinct look (except Ally, she doesn't really stand out) and now that there's one less scene stealing brunette in the group, the girls can stand out a little more on their own.

She thinks she could but she couldn't. Her singing voice isn't that good and nobody cares enough about her to fill the tabloids.
