I feel like Grindr is conditioning us homos to be more horrible to one another than is necessary. Grindr is usually the first foray we have into the dating/hookup scene even though it's pretty dire in terms of etiquette and propriety. Kind of sad.
My straight friends (who primarily use Tinder and the like) rarely have stories like these, whereas most of my gay friends seem to have all sorts of similar experiences to the ones in this thread
