I also think there's a difference (and a fine line) between appropriating a culture for personal gain/humor, and doing it out of respect and love for the culture. I don't think it's always bad. It's just depends on how it's done and what it is you're appropriating. Some things can be very religious and very sensitive.

A mess. You have essentially just taken the bad parts of civilizations and masked it as white, and glorified the best parts of civilizations as non-white. Racism, genocide and religion have been a large part of other cultures too. In China, Mao Zedong was the largest mass murderer of all time. Or religion and extremists in Middle Eastern cultures. And racism is part of the idea of being different from other cultures, something that has been the foundation of most clashes between any two civilizations in the world.

And to say that the Renaissances, the foundations of modern art, music, dance and architecture, or democracy or the Industrial revolution or Hollywood are all boring is just crazy. You probably think of white culture as the stereotypical Indian or Black character in a Hollywood film instead of looking at the action film or romantic drama, murder mystery etc. as part of a movie as part of white culture.

Also, anything I said to criticize other cultures is not meant to be offensive. It is meant as perspective.

Your post made it seem like you thought white culture was the worst out of them all, filled with hate violence ect. The truth is the western/white culture is the most "free" and non opressive culture in the world. I always LOL when someone bashes the west in favour of other cultures, when they have it far worse
