Thanks to everyone who voted last round. I can honestly say I am shocked by the results this round: the song that received the most elimination votes was Alanis Morissette's "Ironic," a contender that had previously been awarded multiple immunities in the earliest rounds. Apart from mourning the '90s singer-songwriter goddess, we also say goodbye to yet another Britney track ("If U Seek Amy") and yet another Gaga track ("Starstruck," featuring Space Cowboy and Flo Rida). After starting with more entries than any other competitors, this leaves both of them with only two songs apiece in the competition - less than Kelly Clarkson and even with Rihanna. Lastly, "Everywhere," by Michelle Branch (perhaps the Alanis of another generation?), was finally chucked, after many rounds of back and forth voting between her fans and haters.
